- wire Cutters
- Small Paint Brush

- Hobby Wire 0.6 to 0.8 mm
- Thick Wool
- Fine Sawdust
- Acrylic Brown Paint

Take 6 to 14 pieces of wire together depending on the scale you are working on .
N Scale ( 6 wires )
HO Scale ( 10 wires )
O Scale ( 14 wires)

When the first branches are desired, take one wire, bend it to a loop. Then twist the wires a few more times. Continue this process till the tip of the tree is reached. Cut the wire loops with a wire cutter and straighten the branches. Then take the wool and wind the wool round the trunk.

Then dip the whole trunk of the tree into a diluted white glue solution.
( 1part white glue - 1 part water )
Then sprinkle on sawdust. The sawdust gives the texture of the bark of a the tree.

foliage offers a new wider range of useful colors. Experienced modelers realize that there are a myriad of colors in nature and has come to the rescue by producing a layered foliage that adds new dimension to scale scenery. Refresh otherwise dull, lifeless scenes with a fresh application of Foliage. Dark conifer tone. Each sheet measures 11" x 5½".

6.

1: Cut a small square approximately 3/4" to 1". Snip diagonally half way through at several angles. At one end, pull apart to give a feathered fan shaped appearance with a "shaggy-end" texture

2: Apply universal glue to your branches of your tree. (Spray adhesive works as well with fine branch )

3: Gently apply Leaf Foliage to branch with the feathered fan facing outward. Tease ends to give additional shape and let dry.

7.

Once the three is dry. Spray a coat of hair spray on the tree for protection.
